The name threadsbyamother™️: right from our childhood we are most fortunate to have our mother always besides us pampering us & nurturing Us
What unfortunately doesn’t come along with a woman after getting married is our mother. However her love, blessings and appreciation are always with us.
The name is inspired from mainly two things. One my 2 beautiful children and other being a mother.
We, Swetha & Kalyan started threadsbyamother™️ as small source of income selling our products at home within our family and friends. With no name, no store, no publicity and cut throat competition in the fabric business we never thought we’d make it to where we are today. Our customers , spread the word about our weaves. The appreciation we got for our weaves encouraged us to take this journey a step forward from an in-house store to being a e-commerce store.
All our products are directly procured from weavers and artisans, who use their ancestral weaving processes and traditional looms.
Our weaves are just a representation of innumerable souls who have created the fabric from a raw thread and spent hours to bring life into a saree.
We salute their craftsmanship and are thankful for keeping this art alive.
